Jardins Perchés – Tours

The Jardins Perchés residence combines social housing and market gardening. This experimentation allows the inhabitants to reconnect with nature and their food. The project also creates jobs with the implementation of a professional market gardening activity. We installed a 760m2 greenhouse in which we set up 84 aeroponics towers distributed in the production greenhouse and in the experimental area. The products are local, in season, (the greenhouse is not heated), and will be sold to residents, individuals and restaurant owners. Le Jardin Perché is a training place where high school students come to do their practical work.
