Agricultural module: Fives Cail

On the site of a former locomotive factory undergoing complete redevelopment, the agricultural module houses an aquaponics system whose products will be destined for the site’s gourmet halls.   The wooden canopy houses ponds that will host rainbow trout and perch depending on the season. On the roof of the neighboring building (future mushroom farm), a 45 m² greenhouse will host crops in gutters and hydroponic pots. The fish waste will allow a quality production in an environment with highly polluted soils! This aquaponic module will also serve as an experimentation site for Yncrea, our sponsor for this project.
